Following a change in role for our current post-holder, we are looking to recruit a part-time teacher of Science who is:
· Dedicated, enthusiastic and good humoured
· Patient and resilient with a positive nature
· Highly skilled and committed
· Passionate about improving outcomes for pupils with SEND
· Committed to an approach of reflective practice
· Experienced in delivering Science to Secondary Education level
The role would suit someone with either:
· Mainstream primary teaching experience with excellent science subject knowledge
· SEND Teaching experience with excellent science subject knowledge

The role is for an ideal of 3 days a week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday but we would consider 2 days for the right applicant

St Nicholas School is an academy special school, situated in Southend-on-Sea, which is part of the SEN Trust Southend. The school offers a quality, inclusive education for secondary aged students (11-16). Our students all have a range of learning needs and enter the school with a statement of Educational Needs, or an Educational Health & Care Plan.
