We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Supervisor to support the Supervisor in the operations and activities of our holiday club at Highwoods Primary school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and playwork, experience in the delivery of a creative and fun play session,have excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
The hours of operation are 7am-6.15pm, working a mixture of morning or afternoon shifts 7am-1.15pm or 12.45pm-6.15pm.
Rate of pay is £14.04 per hour (this is an inflated rate as it includes holiday pay)
Duties
- Manage a holiday club session
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members
- Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Drive the implementation of the holiday club programme
- Organise and oversee club activities
-Act as the session Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
Qualifications
-Level 3 or above Childcare qualification
- Previous experience working with children aged 4-11
- Leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Knowledge of early years childhood education
- Ability to manage and motivate a team
-Paediatric First Aid

All job offers are subject to the receipt of suitable references and full sight of a satisfactory enhanced DBS certificate and written confirmation that the applicant is not disqualified from working with children.
