Premises Manager
Salary Range: Band 6 £39,823 - £44,058 (Actual Starting Salary £39,823 with annual performance based increments)
Working weeks: 52 weeks
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
The Basildon Academies are looking to recruit a dynamic, hardworking and reliable Premises Manager, who will take pride in the academy buildings and grounds while supporting the Senior Leadership Team with its vision for the academies and its buildings.
As Premises Manager you will lead the premises team, who are responsible for ensuring the academies are safe, inviting and have a positive learning environment for students, staff and visitors. You will be required to undertake all people management aspects of the premises team, including; recruitment, performance management, training, scheduling, prioritising and supervising their work and that of work completed by outside agencies on the premises and grounds.
Working closely with the Assistant Director of Operations, you will beresponsible for statutory compliance, strategy, maintenance, organisation, security, staff development, the safe operation and health and safety of the academy sites. You will ensure that the academy facilities function safely and effectively on a daily basis, including outside of core hours for lettings.
