Salary = £12,036 (Pay Scale 5 Points 9 - 12 (£25,119 - £26,421) PRO-RATA - £13.02 - £13.70 per hour)

Are you an experienced Catering Manager who is passionate about creating and delivering exciting, nutritious menus to young learners? Roach Vale Primary School is seeking a talented individual to lead our team as a Catering Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional requirements of students, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Cook and serve home cooked, wholesome food to pupils aged 4-11.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the school kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
- Oversee the ordering and inventory management of food and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Lead a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high standards of food quality and service.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and students to gather feedback and continuously improve the catering service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Catering Manager or similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent culinary skills and creativity in menu planning.
- Effective leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Understanding of budgeting and cost control principles.
