Learning Support Assistant
Fixed-Term Contract (until August 2025)
Scale 3 (c.£11,022)
Term time only, 22.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.35 - 13.05pm

Tiptree Heath Primary School is part of The Eveleigh LINK Academy Trust and is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and capable learning support assistant who will have a positive impact on the children that they work with. Previous experience of working with children with a range of SEND is desirable. You will be joining a team of hard-working, friendly and adaptable LSAs, working under the direction of class teachers, supporting in lessons and running interventions.
We are seeking to appoint an LSA to work with a pupil in EYFS to support with their medical needs. Suitable candidates will be able to interact with a variety of children and use their own interpersonal skills to help children reach their full potential. The job also encompasses an MDA (midday assistant) role. If you enjoy working with children and would like to be part of our supportive team, please contact us to arrange a visit.
Successful applicants will need to be able to work collaboratively, and liaise professionally, with other staff members. They will be organised, flexible and understand the professional nature of the role. An understanding of the importance of positive behaviour management, recognition that every pupil is an individual and advocating inclusivity are also key elements to success.
Qualifications: good numeracy and literacy skills - (GCSE or equivalent in English and maths are highly desirable).
