Finance Assistant
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday (Term time, 5 inset days and 2 weeks holiday working)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Working Weeks: 41 working weeks per year.
Scale 3 points 5-6
Salary: 23500-£23893 FTE (Actual salary £17139.15-£17425.77 pa)
The Chelmsford Learning Partnership (CLP) is a successful and established multi-academy trust of 9 schools.
The trust has an exciting opportunity for a well organised, motivated person to join our Trust Central Finance Team as a part-time Finance Assistant.
The successful candidate should be a reliable, approachable and friendly person with excellent financial, administrative and interpersonal skills. They must be able to work calmly under pressure and have a great sense of humour. Strong communication skills both written and verbal are essential.
The hours will be 6 hours per day Monday - Friday, term time including non-pupil days plus 10 days to be worked across the holiday periods in negotiation with the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience of working in financial administration
Have the ability to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines and work with accuracy and attention to detail
Have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Be educated to GCSE Grade 5 and above (or equivalent) in Maths and English

The Chelmsford Learning Partnership (CLP) is an emerging multi-academy trust based in Springfield, Chelmsford. The trust was formerly known as The Boswells Academy Trust but changed name in late 2017 to reflect the growth of the trust beyond one school. There are currently 8 schools across Essex in the CLP multi academy trust.
The schools in the CLP are: Barnes Farm Primary School, Lakelands Primary School, Perryfields Infant School, Roding Valley High School, The Beaulieu Park School, The Boswells School, The Tyrrells Primary School and William de Ferrers School.
