Northlands Primary School and Nursery is delighted to invite you to apply to join our fantastic team to work in our Reception classes. If you are looking for a new opportunity where you will make a difference every day, then look no further!
As a member of support staff in Reception, you will support the planning and delivery of the Early Years Framework, creating a stimulating and rich learning environment to support the development needs of all our pupils.
Our staff have high expectations of every pupil which we nurture in vibrant classrooms, extending learning through continuous provision to our large, well-resourced garden area.
The successful applicant will:
- Have experience of working in a reception classroom
- Have good phonics knowledge
- Understand and have experience with continuous provision
- Be skilled in working with small groups of children to ensure the best outcomes
- Be able to liaise closely with parents / carers
- Be an excellent team player who is flexible where required
