We are looking for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist who is looking for an opportunity to continue your therapy journey in awell led, collaborative and supportive environment. The Edith Borthwick School is a large, vibrant 3-19 special school where we have a broad and exciting curriculum. In 2015 we moved into a brand new building and we have a strong reputation within the community. We have high expectations of both students and staff and consider this to be an exciting place to work and develop, where creativity and innovation are nurtured. We really know our students, and focus on them as individuals. Pastoral systems are strong and we value a curriculum offer and activities that educate the whole child.
The therapy team plays an integral role in the school and you must have experience as an outstanding practitioner who can support,enthuse and inspire others.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead an established therapy team across the Edith Borthwick School to ensure needs of the learners and staff are met
- Provide clinical and non-clinical supervision and support the therapy team including therapists, assistants and apprentices
- Continue to develop the therapy service to reflect advances in research and evidence-based practice
- Work in partnership with the schools leadership team to embed therapy as part of the school's ethos

The position is to commence in September 2024 and is 3 days a week - 0830-1630 and is term time only.
