Monday to Friday 8:45am to 12pm

We have a very special little boy starting with us in September who needs a special adult to support his transition into primary school. The successful candidate will assist with day to day care needs, including intimate care, learning support and wellbeing.

An understanding of complex needs, communication strategies and makaton would be beneficial but training will be provided for the right person.

The role will include intimate care and PEG feeding - again training and support will be provided.

Staff wellbeing is at the core of our provision, including social events, a dedicated member of staff responsible for staff well being and cakes and chocolate on a regular basis.

We can offer:

  • Well behaved and engaged children with supportive parents
  • A truly enjoyable environment to teach in including, bright airy classrooms, a swimming pool, an iSandBox, radio station and well stocked library
  • Supportive and caring staff
  • A new bespoke curriculum that focuses on: academic excellence, creativity, social intelligence and working with the community
  • A current focus on embedding the arts across our curriculum

If you would like to join our team, we can arrange visits to view the school. Please contact the school office to make an appointment to see the Headteacher, Colin Raraty.

Rodings Primary is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, so this role is subject to a successful DBS enhanced disclosure, medical clearance and satisfactory references.
