Scale: Scale 3, Point 5-6 (Depending on experience)

Actual Salary: £11,453.91 to £11,640.00 (depending on experience)

Start Date: 2nd September 2024

We are seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and supportive Nursery team at Bardfield Academy. You will work in partnership with class teachers to support social, emotional, educational and welfare needs of nursery/early years' children in line with the early years' goals, codes of practice and school policies and procedures.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual, who enjoys using their own initiative as well as working as part of a team.

Working 21 hours per week; Wednesday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:45pm, term time only.

Are willing to motivate and help children to grow and develop into independent young people.
Can assist in the planning and evaluation of activities with the Early Years Leader, providing feedback to the Early Years Leader on pupil progress and behaviour.
Can interact with, and support pupils, according to individual needs and skills.
Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Are passionate about working as an effective team worker, developing good relationships with other staff, parents and children.
Ability to support students with early literacy and numeracy.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have good organisational and interpersonal skills.
