Learning Support Assistant
Band: B (3) point 10-16 salary £24,004 - £26,545
Actual salary: £15,329- £16,952
Hours: 27.5 hours per week (8:45 - 3:15 daily)
Term time only 38 weeks per year (44.8 weeks per year paid)
Abbots Hall Primary Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic team player who is passionate about working with children.

We are looking for someone who:
· Has been educated to at least GCSE level in English and Maths and if possible hold additional qualifications/experience with working with
children
· Has a patient and positive attitude
· Is able to build strong relationships with adults and children
The successful candidate will be required to:
· Work under the guidance of a teacher - planning and preparing lessons/learning activities and to deliver these in either a subject specialism or
key stage to a whole class/with a small group of pupils and on a one to one basis
· Work alongside a child as part of 1:1 supervision
· Work alongside lunchtime supervisors to provide care for children at lunch.
· Take some responsibility for the reporting and progress of pupils in accordance with the schools assessment policy
· Communicate effectively with parents/carers and colleagues
· Undertake training as required
· Keep up-to-date with changes in education relevant to your role
· Work in collaboration with other colleagues.
