We are currently seeking a dynamic and high-level influencer to lead and manage a dedicated team across four pivotal service areas: Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG), Tutorials, Enrichment, and Work Placement to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive a program for widening employability skills across the four areas.
  • Promote cross-college engagement with employability activities through training and coaching.
  • Integrate and manage information systems (Grofar & ProMonitor).
  • Prioritise and manage multiple workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Manage budgets and identify new income sources.
  • Capture and analyse data for quality improvement.
  • Lead regular team meetings across service areas.
  • Lead on delivery of cross college training
  • Ensure compliance with policies and accurate administration.
  • Support staff in improving service quality.
  • Promote student wellbeing to help students realise their potential.

Essential Requirements:

  • Holds or is prepared to gain Careers Leader qualification Level 6
  • Good understanding of progression routes for learners including higher education, apprenticeships and employment
  • A good working knowledge of the FE environment
  • Able to interpret and use data accurately. A detail knowledge of the Grofar system will need to be acquired.
  • Experience of managing and developing individuals and teams
  • A good understanding of the Gatsby Benchmarks
