Learning Support Assistant with Midday Lunchtime Duty - Part Time
Approx 23 hours a week
Scale 3 Pt 4-5 (actual salary currently £12,524)
39 working weeks a year (includes 5 non-pupil days)
Monday-Friday 8.20am - 1.10pm with a 15 minute break to be taken during the morning
We are looking for an enthusiastic class based Learning Support Assistant ideally with prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant or other relevant experience in a school or comparable setting. This role may require the successful applicant to be able to take PPA and other class cover as needed (additional payment when this duty is undertaken).

The successful candidate will:-
Have Maths and English GCSE L4 / C grade and above or recognised acceptable equivalent

Information about the School
South Benfleet Primary School is a well-established, successful school which is counting down to its 100th birthday in 2026! Many of our parents and grandparents were educated here and although teaching methods and curriculum content have changed over the years, our ethos hasn't. We take great pride in our reputation for being 'a friendly, caring, family school’. We have well behaved and engaged learners with great parental support.
The school has over 400 children on roll. We are a 2 form entry school with 14 classes and a total staff of over 60. We have no mixed age classes. We are located in the heart of South Benfleet with good access to local shops and transport links.
