SEN Learning Support Assistant
Start Date: 2nd September 2024
Salary: Scale 3, point 5 (actual salary £16,559.01 p/a)
Hours: 31.25 per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:15pm, term time only
Type: Fixed term until 31st August 2025
We are looking to appointanexperienced, enthusiastic and motivated SEN Learning Support Assistants to provide one to one support for pupils with additional needs. You will work closely with the Class Teacher and SENCo to support learning in line with the curriculum and a range of one plan needs. Experience of working with children with special needs is desired. This position is a fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will:
· have a high level of empathy and compassion;
· have the ability to form positive relationships with colleagues and children;
· have experience of and is confident in supporting children's special educational needs, including social & emotional;
· be prepared to take on any educational training as required;
· remain calm in challenging situations and work closely as part of a team;
· liaise with and report to the class teacher and SENCo;
· have a good sense of humour!
