At South Essex College's Group we are excited and proud to be developing our curriculum offer. September 2024 will see the introduction of the South Essex Academy of Advanced Technology.

The Academy of Advanced Technology is committed to providing a broad and balanced, knowledge-based curriculum whilst encouraging students to seek out and nurture their natural gifts.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Maths and A-Level Physics Teacher who has sound knowledge of both the Maths and Physics curriculum.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in growing and developing this new provision at South Essex Colleges Group. In line with the role requirements for this role, the successful candidate is to hold a recognised teaching qualification. This may be a CertEd, DTLLS or DET, or PGCE.

If you do not hold a recognised teaching qualification, candidates will be expected to enrol on a teaching course after passing probation. This is a contractual requirement of the role. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching the A-level curriculum.

They will have sound knowledge of working with a number of awarding bodies and be competent of teaching and preparing learners for the A-Level exams.
