Rowhedge Under 5's Pre School is looking to recruit a Qualified Early Years Manager to join our busy setting. The start date would be from September 2024.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who would love to become a part of our team.
Applicants will be required to:
· Have a sound understanding of the EYFS framework, and be able to implement this within the setting.
· Show a strong knowledge of how to effectively monitor children's development.
· To lead, motivate and develop the staff team. To be able to communicate well at all levels.
· To work closely with the setting deputy manager, and pre school committee.
· To have the ability to promote a secure, safe and happy environment.
· Have responsibility in maintaining high standards.
· To have knowledge and experience of children with SEN, supporting the setting SENCO and children.
· To hold the designated safeguarding lead role.
Required Qualifications/ Skills
· The candidate must have Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
· Must have previous experience working with young children in a pre school or nursery setting.
· Must have experience as a senior member of an Early Years team, Supervisor, Room lead or Deputy manager.
We offer regular ongoing training to support our staff with their learning ambitions to give them the opportunity to take ownership of their development
Hours of work:
Term time only (38) weeks a year
5 days a week 08:15-15:45
Hours could be negotiable for the right candidate.
We are committed to the safeguarding all children. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and will also be required to provide references from previous employers. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
