About Venn Essex Maths Hub:
The Venn Essex Maths Hub is located at St Thomas More's Catholic Primary School in the heart ofColchester. With a dedicated team of operational partners who help carry out the Hub's work, we work very closely with our Strategic Partners, who help plan and evaluate our work. We work with successful, established mathematics communities across the Essex region as well as national partners and mathematics associations. Sounds busy? It is!
Basis: 22.5 hours per week, Tuesday - Thursday 8am - 4pm, Term Time only
Scale 3 Point 5 - 6 actual salary £11,922.49 - £12,124.41 per annum (£23,500.00 - £23,893.00 full time equivalent), dependent on experience.
Purpose: To provide the Venn Essex Maths Hub team with high quality, timely and accurate data.
Key Responsibilities: To ensure the smooth running of the Maths Hub and programmes delivered, including:
· Providing administrative support for the Maths Hub Leadership Team and LLME when requested
· Preparing, compiling, and circulating relevant files and paperwork prior to board meetings and producing Strategic Board meeting notes
· Supporting the Maths Hub leadership Team in maintaining relationships with local partners
· Providing support to LLMEs in respect to the efficient running of all hub activity; this could include support for the use of online communications tools & KIT calls.
· Arrange appropriate venues and meeting facilities along with the necessary IT equipment and sundries
· Create official 'sign in' sheets for data capture for Safeguarding and data reporting purposes.
· Enter data into 'in-house' Hub databases
· Data collection and entry into MH POD
· Assisting with the creation of newsletters and circulation
· Using external communication tools (Twitter, websites, newsletters) to promote the Maths Hub
· Ensuring that the internal communication channels of Maths Hub Network are used efficiently by the Maths Hub (Maths Hub Bulletin, Programme Calendar, KnowledgeBase, and online communities)
· Managing the development and maintenance of the Maths Hub website, ensuring it is an up-to-date resource to include all relevant hub activity
· Maintaining up to date participant data on MHPod
· Ensuring accurate and helpful reports from MHPod are accessible to the MHLM team and the NCETM
· Participating in and attending national Operational Management Group forums and online community
· Working with other local Operational Management Groups to promote clear support across the region
· Liaising with NCETM/(DFE as required)
