Contract Type: TA - Fridays 8.30am to 3.15pm (5 hr 40 mins a week), MDA - Fridays (25 minutes per week)

Contract Term: Permanent, term time only

Chadwell St Mary Primary School is looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for one day per week (Fridays) in term time to join our friendly and supportive team. You will be working with pupils in class, in small groups and with individuals, supporting the delivery of high-quality learning experiences. This role will also include additional Midday Assistant duties. Our Teaching Assistants believe in building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues, are passionate about their role, and are willing to go the extra mile to support pupil achievement.

You will:

· Have good organisation and communication skills;

· Be positive and encouraging to enthuse and motivate pupils;

· Have high expectations of pupil attainment and behaviour;

· Be patient, caring and have understanding and compassion for children with social, emotional and mental health needs;

· Be warm and sensitive to families from diverse backgrounds;
