Sports Coach

Are you an experienced sports coach looking for a new and exciting teaching opportunity in a vibrant and very active school? Then come and work with us. We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational sports coach to join the PE and Sports leadership team at our school.

Responsibilities include:

· Teaching curriculum PE across the school

· Running before and after school sports clubs every day

· Training squad teams for competitions

· Mentoring individual pupils through PE

This is a full time post working hours 8am - 4.30pm

Salary: Support staff scale 13- 17 £26,873 - £28,770 (39 weeks per year. Salary pro-rata for hours worked)

Information about the School

R A Butler Academy is a vibrant school located in the heart of the market town of Saffron Walden and a core school of the Saffron Academy Trust. Although technically two schools, Infant and Junior, we work as one and are led by one Headteacher. We have 90 children in each year group with a capacity of 630. Our site is spacious and well-resourced. Staff are well supported and the school is committed to career development.
