Job Role: Pastoral Assistant
Hours: 37 per week (8:15am - 4:30pm including a 45minute unpaid break per day)
Pay Scale: Point 7-11
Working Weeks: 39 (Term time plus inset days)
Start Date: As soon as possible
The Epsilon Star Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Pastoral Assistant to work at Kents Hill Junior School based in Benfleet, Essex.

We are looking for a Pastoral Assistant who:
· Works under the direction of the Head of Academy and Deputy Head of Academy, in partnership with other professionals, to support pupils with emotional and social needs in line with codes of practice and school policies and procedures.
· Has an understanding of the developmental, emotional, social, and educational issues of children and young people.
· Supports pupils and families within the school environment to identify and manage early intervention and refer to external agencies as required.
· Supports the DSL/DDSL with any safeguarding issues/cases as and when they arise.
· Cares passionately about the wellbeing of all pupils.
