About Us:
We are a School dedicated to empowering young people with SEN to reach and unlock their potential. We have been in the community for many years working with a host of organisations dedicated to providing realistic and challenging work experience, and we need an enthusiastic individual to join us on the Job Coach team.

Role Overview:
As the job coach within the community, you will play a pivotal role in helping young individuals transition into the workforce. Your key responsibilities will include:
· Supporting young people in developing essential skills for the workplace.
· Building a professional network both within and outside the school to create employment opportunities.
· Identifying and addressing support needs, and implementing effective strategies for each student.
· Ensuring the safeguarding of students in all activities and placements
· Developing pupils ' self-esteem and resilience within the community
Requirements:
· Solid understanding of health and hygiene and the ability to confidently teach this to pupils.
· Previous experience working with individuals with SEN essential.
· A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organisational abilities and the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Salary and Working Hours:
Scale 7 (points 19-24) Apr 23 pay scales
Actual Salary: £26,761 - £29,6131 per annum (FTE: £29,777 - £33,024)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 4:30pm, Friday 8.30am to 4pm
Contract: 40 weeks per year (term time plus 2 additional weeks)
