IMMEDIATE START - The Governing Body of Grays Convent High School has a vacancy for two Midday Assistants for a key role within the school. The successful candidates will be responsible for implementing the school lunchtime and behaviour policies, ensuring the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during their lunch breaks.
These posts are required from Monday to Friday, 11.30am- to 2.30pm, term time only. You will be contracted for 15 hours per week. The salary range will be between £7,794 and £8,008 (dependent on experience) and is paid on the Band 2 pay scale for support staff.

We have three year groups with 150 pupils and a temporary admission number of 680, having taken ' bulge' classes due to local growth. With a successful OFSTED 'Good' judgment comfortably secured in June 2023, we are now pushing towards 'outstanding' status, with all of the excitement of setting and achieving the highest standards on a daily basis. Our Section 48 Inspection described us as an "Outstanding Catholic School".
