FINANCE ASSISTANT REQUIRED FROM 1ST SEPTEMBER 2024
16 HOURS PER WEEK, SCALE 3, POINT 5-6 (£12.18-£12.39 PER HOUR)
TERM TIME ONLY (EXCLUDING INSET DAYS)Working pattern to be decided.
A rare opportunity has arisen at Rayne Primary and Nursery School. A small, caring village school in the heart of Essex.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our small but highly effective admin team and wish to appoint a well-organised friendly individual.
We are looking for someone who
· Has excellent verbal and written skills
· Is organised and efficient
· Has great people skills and a desire to be part of the school community
· Is proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
· Is excellent at multitasking and can work under their own initiative as well as part of the school team
· Has the ability to remain calm under pressure
· Maintains confidentiality at all times
We can offer the right candidate training and CPD opportunities and you would be working in a friendly and supportive environment. The role includes processing orders, paying invoices, collection and allocation of monies received, coordinating school trips expenses, keeping check of budgets etc. Please see job description for full details. Covering the front office will also be a requirement.
