DEPUTY HEADTEACHER - MATERNITY COVER (with potential for further opportunity)
Deneholm Primary School is seeking to appoint an inspirational professional with commitment and drive to the position of Deputy Headteacher in our popular and successful school. The position is a fixed-term maternity cover for two terms, with the potential for further opportunity.
The successful candidate will have enthusiasm, determination and emotional intelligence and will support the whole-school team ethos in our aim of offering an outstanding educational experience for every child.
The Trust seeks applications from candidates who:
- Are outstanding teachers who have the ability to work in partnership with the Headteacher to nurture and inspire the development of high-quality teaching and learning, and to motivate pupils and staff in the primary phase
- Are good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills, who understand how to build positive and effective relationships with all stakeholders and develop strong partnerships with the school community
- Have reliability and integrity, and high standards and expectations in all areas of school life, being committed to supporting the learning and achievement of all children to their full potential
- Demonstrate skills in strategic thinking, supporting effective planning and progress towards a clear, shared cross-phase vision
- Are positive, creative and utilise imagination in response to changing circumstances and new ideas
- Are able to analyse and present achievement and progress data
