Heathlands C of E Primary School is a happy, thriving two-form entry primary school based in the village of West Bergholt, Colchester. Our school has a family-feel where all members of our community are welcome and treated with respect. Our staff are kind, hard working and committed, they plan together and support each other in year group and phase teams. We have a superb team of support staff who run a range of interventions as well as providing general classroom support.

We are looking for a Pastoral LSA who is aligned toour school's core Christian values of Trust, Respect, Enjoyment, Courage and Kindness. This post is for 25 hours a week, across Monday to Friday.

We are looking for an inspirational and experienced Pastoral Support LSA to work under the remit of the SENCo, in order to support our children, staff and families throughout the school.

The successful candidate will support nurture provision to enhance the development of children's emotional wellbeing, and respond to support in classes as directed by the SENCo with identified children. Examples of what this may include are Trauma Preceptive Practise, Working together with Lego, Drawing and talk therapy.

High quality support and professional development will be provided as part of the role.
