Shorefields School caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties. We are seeking a qualified class teacher with a positive and motivated attitude to meeting complex special needs and the enthusiasm, energy and resilience to contribute to our outstanding team.
We are seeking to appoint an SLD class teacher for our Sunshine Strand for a September start. This is a fixed term position to 31st August 2025. Either a Full time or Part time position will be considered.
ECT's and teachers transferring from mainstream are welcome to apply; our priority is appointing someone with the right personality and approach and with the skills and attributes that will support effective work here; we can help with the rest ! You will need a good work ethic and the desire and ability to learn fast.

Shorefields School caters for the needs of pupils with a range of severe learning difficulties. We currently have 154 pupils on roll aged between 3 and 19 years. The school is located in the centre of Clacton-on-Sea close to the beach and shopping area. Our catchment area extends to the whole of the Tendring peninsula
