Learning Support Assistant
Scale 3 (c.£8,178.94)
Fixed Term Contract until 31.08.2024
Term time only, 5 mornings per week, 8.40 - 12pm
To commence January 2024
St Luke's Park Primary School is part of The Eveleigh LINK Academy Trust and is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and capable learning support assistant who will have a positive impact on the children that they work with. Previous experience is highly desirable but not essential. You will be joining a team of hard working, friendly and adaptable LSAs working under the direction of class teachers supporting in lessons and running interventions.
This contract is fixed term until 31.08.2024 as working with a pupil in year 2 to support catching up in all areas of the curriculum. Suitable candidates will be able to interact with a wide range of children and use their own interpersonal skills to encourage the most from the children. Supporting groups of pupils and individuals including those with additional needs.
Suitable candidates will need to be able to work as part of a team and be able to liaise with other members of staff. The successful applicant will be organised with good communication skills, able to demonstrate initiative and flexibility, and understand the professional nature of the role.
Together with the above attributes, a good standard of English and mathematics is required.
Qualifications: good numeracy and literacy skills - (GCSE or equivalent in English and maths are highly desirable).

Information about the School
St Luke's Park Primary School is situated on St. Luke's Park development in Runwell. We opened in September 2022 and over the next 4 years we will grow into a single-form-entry primary school with a total capacity of 210 children across seven classes.
The school is part of Quantum Multi-Academy Trust which consists of Great Baddow High School, Purleigh Primary School, Meadgate Primary School, Maylandsea Primary School, Larkrise Primary School, Tiptree Heath Primary School, Maltese Road Primary School and St. Luke's Park Primary School.
