Salary:BandCPoint13 - 19
(£25,132.14- £28,808.61actual salaryper annum)
37hoursper week
Monday -Thursday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm
30 minuteunpaid lunchbreakeach day
38 weeks per year, term time plus inset days

Thames Park Secondary Schoolareseekingto appointanexperienced,enthusiasticand flexible Cover Supervisor to support cover within the school.Thames Park Secondary School is a part of Osborne Co-operative AcademyTrust,our schools havepreviously supported Cover Supervisors to complete their Teaching Training and progress to teachers within their schools.
Keyduties of the role:
Supervising classes and supporting pupils
Delivering cover work set by the class teacher
Providing feedback to the classroom teacher on the pupil's progress against lesson plans, conduct of the lesson and keeping pupil related records
Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school's policies and procedures
Collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to theappropriate teacher
Provideadditionalsupport to teachers in classrooms, to carry out administrative tasks when not covering a class
Act as a role model, settinghigh expectationsof conduct and behaviour and adhering to theschool'sbehaviour management policy
The successful candidate will have:
The ability to support pupils with learning,emotionaland behavioural difficulties
Excellent written skills with the ability to multi-task
Excellent communication skills, with a positive and helpful attitude
The ability to remain calm under pressure and remain positive
The ability to followsafeguarding procedures and prioritise students' welfare
