Role:Inclusion and Wellbeing Support Assistant

Contract:Permanent (39 weeks per year, term-time plus inset days)

Hours:35 hours per week 8.00 - 3.30 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) 8.30 - 4.00 (Wednesday)

Salary:Scale 5 points 10-13 (FTE salary £27,694-£29,064)

Closing Date:29th May 2026 at 12pm Midday

Are you looking for an amazing opportunity to be part of an incredible journey at Lakelands Primary School? We are looking for a Inclusion and Wellbeing Support Assistantto:

Provide administrative support to the Learning Support team
Provide direct support for pupils with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties
work with and help facilitate those pupil's successful inclusion in school life
We are looking for a candidate who:

A high standard of written and spoken English
Excellent numeracy skills
A strong work ethic with flexibility to respond positively to challenges of day to day school life
A calm and motivated attitude with a clear understanding of the needs of all children including children with additional needs
A good sense of humour Excellent communication skills
Willing to undertake training and support individual needs
Previous experience of working within an administrative or similar role in a busy school office

Information about the School

Lakelands Primary School is a brand new primary school that opened in September 2020 with state of the art facilities in Stanway, Colchester. Year on year the school will grow, providing 420 places for local children between four and eleven years old by 2026. At Lakelands Primary School we are creating a new school where children can thrive and flourish and fulfil their potential.
