The CEO of SECAT is seeking to appoint a Specialist Learning Mentor for the Autism Resource Base (ARB) based at Thorpedene Primary School and Nursery.
It is essential that the successful candidate has experience working with SEND children. It is desirable if the successful candidate has previous experience as a Learning Mentor and/or a Leanring Mentor qualification.
Thisrole is central to delivering the highest quality provision for some of our students who join our Autism Resource Base at Thorpedene Primary School and Nursery, requiring a skilled person to support the studentsto access a personalised curriculum. The role will involve working with these students within the Resource Base and accessing mainstream education whilst developing their social skills. The postholder will help these students to develop their confidence to thrive in school.

The Trust Head Office is at SECAT House, which is in the grounds of Thorpedene Primary School, one of the 6 schools in our Trust. The Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Executive Assistant all operate from SECAT House.
The Central Finance Team, ICT Team, Estates Team and HR Team are all based in schools within the MAT, as is the Director of Education.
