St Cedd's School is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual as Bursar. The successful candidate will have strong financial and commercial acumen and an excellent track record of managing multidisciplinary teams, delivering exceptional support services and implementing robust financial and operational controls. A mutually acceptable start date will be agreed with the successful candidate.

The Bursar plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the operational and administrative side of the School. This is a hands on and varied position requiring flexibility of approach, strong leadership and enthusiasm.

Reporting to the Head and the Governors, the Bursar is responsible for:
• Finance and accounting
• Payroll
• Estate management and projects
• Health and Safety
• Catering and Cleaning
• School Shop
• Administration
• Clerk to the Governors
