EYFS/KS1 LSA - 10 hours per week term time only + 5 inset days
Monday to Friday. Hours 13:00-15:00
Scales 3, Pay Point 6 FTE £25989 Actual £6021.77
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our EYFS/KS1 team.
Successful candidates will have a good understanding and experience of balancing the complex individual social and emotional needs of children whilst maintaining a sense of fairness in class. A good understanding of child development and key skills in encouraging, yet challenging, children to achieve academically and socially within this setting is required. The ability to work collaboratively with the class team and other professionals in a busy, vibrant school is also essential. Good literacy and numeracy skills as well as effective ICT skills are necessary.
Prior school and SEND experience are desirable.
This is a temporary position linked to SEND funding
