About the Role

Harlow College are looking to recruit a new 6th Form Manager (Assistant Academy Manager) with responsibility for our 6th Form and Access to HE provision.

The 6th form is a standalone part of the college which complements our vocational and technical delivery. The 6th Form currently has on average 150 students studying both AS and A Levels across 20 subject areas. There are 5 different Access to HE pathways which include:

Criminology and Policing*
Nursing and Midwifery (Health Professionals)
Medicine
Psychology and Counselling
Construction and the Built Environment*
*New for 2025-26

To be successful in this role, you'll need good attention to detail, a solid track record of following processes, and experience in managing people effectively. You should be a great communicator, a team player, and confident working with others. We're looking for someone who lives our values - putting students at the heart, working well in a team, being ambitious for the future, and showing respect in the way that you work.

To be considered for this role you must have:

A teaching qualification at Level 4 or above
A relevant degree
Experience of teaching in a 6th Form/A-level provision
Experience in curriculum development and/or developing teaching and learning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Combined Skills test and interview: Wednesday 9th July 2025
