Wishes to recruit a Senior Executive Assistant
Salary: Thurrock Band D Point 20 - 25
£31,521 - £35,776 actual salary per annum - based on 37 hours per week
35 - 37 hours per week - Monday - Friday - hours of work to be agreed with the successful candidate
41 weeks of the year - term time, inset days, plus 10 additional days to be worked during the school closure periods
Start Date: 1st September 2026
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the CEO and Assistant CEO within a dynamic education setting. This is a pivotal role, ensuring the smooth running of executive operations while also supporting the Trust's complaints processes with professionalism and discretion.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a key point of contact between senior leaders and internal/external stakeholders
- Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and meeting documentation
- Co-ordinate meetings, take minutes, and track actions
- Support the administration and coordination of complaints in line with policy and timescales
- Conduct research and compile data to support decision-making
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting senior leadership, demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, alongside a high level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information. You should be confident working independently, using your initiative to anticipate needs and solve problems, and possess strong IT skills, including a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
