Immediate desirable for solid handover from current Site Manager. Scale 6 (£28,163 to £30,060) according to experience. 37hrs per week 7.30am to 4pm (some split shift required by arrangement).
We are seeking to recruit a new Site Manager to join our positive, solutions focused team.
Braiswick Primary School opened in September 2015 as part of the Learning Pathways Academy Trust and the building has been built to a high technical specification.
The successful candidate will be flexible in their approach, self-motivated, energetic and keen to work as part of the school community.
General responsibilities will include:
Providing a safe and secure environment for pupils and staff
Ensuring that the management and maintenance of the school buildings and environment are effectively undertaken
Ensuring full compliance of Health and Safety procedures - good knowledge of these essential
Undertaking repairs and DIY projects
Delegation of tasks as appropriate to other site staff or outside contractors, ensuring Health & Safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
Supporting the smooth running of traffic flow and parking around the school site
Liaising with local residents to ensure the school works in harmony with the local community
Monitoring the performance of the cleaning contractors in the execution of their duties in ensuring a clean, tidy and well maintained school environment
Attendance of out of hours emergency call outs
Safe in Education", the school will conduct searches for information onshortlisted candidateswhich is publicly available on-line. The purpose is limited:
· to identify issues which call into question the applicant's suitability to work with children.
· to verify employment history.

Braiswick Primary is the third school of the Learning Pathways Academy Trust which also includes Lyons Hall Primary in Braintree and White Hall Academy in Clacton-On-Sea.
