Residential Manager for Residential Special School and Deputy Safeguarding Lead at Langham Oaks School
Salary: Salary: Scale 10 points 34 -37 (£43,693 to £46,731 full time) depending on experience. The actual salary range for this post will be LGPS Scale 10 £38,470.71 (point 34) rising to £41,145.60 (point 37) per annum.

At this already exciting time, we nowfind ourselves witha rare opportunity for the right person to join the School as a Residential Manager for a residential special school in Langham Oaks'residential Team.TheResidential Team comprisesa small group of staffwho are dedicated to ensuring that students leave Langham ready and well-equipped for the next stage of their journeys. This role offers insight into pupil welfare and engagement in the learning process and will widen the knowledge and experience of existing Residential Managers.
Langham Oaks is set in the quiet village of Langham, near Colchester, and is a school for boys, providing a very special type of education to 80 students who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties. It is part-residential and places are available for some of the boys who wish to stay for all or part of the week between Monday and Thursday.
In October 2020, the school moved into to a brand-new purpose-built provision within its existing grounds and provide wonderful facilities for its staff and pupils.
