The core purpose is to provide high quality continuity of every child's journey through education from 3 to 19, with a community and school-led school improvement approach and long-term sustainable strategy. Bridge Academy Trust is committed to its people strategy and prioritises staff's development to ensure they too can enjoy, enrich, achieve and aspire.

About the role We are seeking a talented and motivated qualified teacher of Maths to join our team as a 0.2 FTE Maths Tutor on a one-year fixed-term contract, working intensively with Year 11 students to help them secure strong outcomes in GCSE Maths.

This role is central to our intervention strategy, with a focus on supporting students at risk of not achieving a grade 5 or above. The successful candidate will deliver targeted small group and 1:1 intervention sessions, monitor and track progress, and work closely with the Head of Maths, classroom teachers, and senior leaders to ensure students make accelerated progress.

We are looking for a teacher who:

Has strong subject knowledge and a track record of raising attainment in Maths.
Can build positive relationships with students, motivating them to succeed.
Can use assessment and feedback to close gaps in knowledge and build exam confidence.
Is committed to celebrating student success, including through praise and positive communication with parents.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic teacher to make a significant impact on student outcomes in the run-up to exams.

Bridge Academy Trust may close this advert early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications.
