37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Immediate Start

We are looking for aSchool Caretaker to join our academy starting as soon as possible. As aSchool Caretaker you will be responsible for ensuring Maltings Academy functions safely and effectively on a daily basis. This role is key to ensuring school facilities are available and fit for purpose at all times. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the site is clean and tidy, items are moved to the appropriate place, minor repairs are made and contractors are effectively monitored whilst on site.

Maltings is a 11-16 academy based in Witham, Essex. Situated between the cities of Chelmsford and Colchester, the academy has 900 students on roll and benefits from a purpose-built building that was constructed in 2011. There are excellent transport links to London which enables our staff and young people to take full advantage of the wealth of opportunities that London provides. Free car parking facilities are available on site.

Shift patterns are 6am - 2pm or 10am - 6pm. The role is due to start as soon as possible.
