We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our friendly and hardworking team. We are looking for staff to join us as soon as possible but also for the start of our transition work in June for our new years 5/6 provision.
The successful candidates will need to be flexible and be prepared to assist pupils on an individual basis as well as in small groups or a classroom environment. A good level of English, Maths and ICT skills is essential.
The successful candidates will ideally have:
· Experience of supporting pupils with complex needs
· A caring, patient nature
· The ability to be flexible
· The ability to work well within a team and independently

The working hours are:
Mondays: 8.45am - 4.05pm , Tuesdays to Fridays 8.45am - 3.05pm
*We would be open to consider part-time applications for the right candidates.

St Nicholas School is an academy special school, situated in Southend-on-Sea, which is part of the SEN Trust Southend. The school offers a quality, inclusive education for secondary aged students (11-16). Our students all have a range of learning needs and enter the school with a statement of Educational Needs, or an Educational Health & Care Plan.
