Southend East Community Academy Trust (SECAT) and Shoeburyness High School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Pastoral Year Manager. Experience working with young people, parents, guardians, staff, governors and outside agencies preferred. The sucessful candidate will be assertive, confident, well organised and able to work ontheir own initiative with excellent interpersonal skills.
You will work in partnership with a team of experienced and highly skilled Heads of Year, Pastoral Year Managers and the wider pastoral and inclusion teams.
You will have responsibility for establishing a corporate year idenity and have a front-line responsability for child safeguarding and welfare. You will take day to day responsibility for the guidance and support of students in terms of their progress, pastoral needs, and social and emotional wellbeing, liaising and working with stakeholders, including staff, parents, guardians and outside agencies.
