Job Description

The CEO of SECAT and Headteacher of Shoeburyness High School are seeking to appoint a committed and innovative Teacher of English, for a January 2026 start. This post would suit an experienced colleague or someone looking for their first post, which would be well supported by an effective ECT programme.

We are looking for a teacher who can make a valuable contributionto the school. The successful candidate will be able to deliver high quality lessons, ensuring that students achieve their full potential.

Shoeburyness High School is a very successful, large and oversubscribed 11-18 Community Academy and a member of the Southend East Community Academy Trust (SECAT).
