Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Essex Pay Band Scale 6 Term Time 30 hours, 50 minutes per week, 38 working weeks per year.
What are we looking for?
A flexible team player, who is experienced and confident in supporting and covering classes in the primary phase.
Confidence to cover classes in all year groups from Reception to Year 6
A knowledge of the primary curriculum and high standards of pupil attainment.
An inclusive approach to positive behaviour, building relationships with children and willing to follow the school's behaviour policy.
Ideally, HLTA status already achieved, but the school may consider LSAs willing to undertake this training
Previous classroom experience is essential.
At least Maths and English passed at GCSE or equivalent.
A high standard of written and spoken English

Regular training with our team of LSAs and opportunities to join teachers in relevant CPD.
