Temple Sutton Primary School - Year 1 Fixed Term, Class Teacher
Job description
A Year 1 Teacher is required from January 2026 until 31st August 2026, on a fixed term contract due to maternity cover.
Working Days: Mon - Fri 32.5 hrs per week | Main Payscale

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire and motivate pupils
- Assess and monitor pupils' progress and provide regular feedback to ensure each student achieves their full potential
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to the wider school community by participating in school events and extracurricular activities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working in a primary school setting.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to ensuring all pupils reach their full potential
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
