Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Pay: Thurrock Band 4 -Point Range12 - 20(Salary Range: Full Time equivalent: £21,593 to £25,963)
Permanent Position - 35 hours per week, term time only, (paid44.8 weeksper year includes holiday pay)
Hours:8.30am to 4.30pm.

Experience:
Have a good standard ofMathsand English GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or higher, as well as good spoken and written English
Havepreviousexperience of working with children in an educational setting
Be able toevidenceusing own initiative to develop children's learning
Have a patient and positive approach towards supporting pupils.
Be enthusiastic and committed to being part of a team, or toworkonowninitiative.
Put children at the centre of all that you do
Be able to contribute to creating a stimulating and purposeful learning environment.
Work in partnership with all members of staff and lead classes following teacher guidance
Provide feedback to the class teacher on pupil's progress
Support the class teacher in planning differentiated work for pupils
Attend INSET days and training asidentifiedby the Headteacher
Be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school.
