Deneholm Primary School is an extremely happy and positive school lookingto appoint a highly effective, caring,enthusiasticand experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.This role will also includeadditionalMidday Assistant duties. 

The successful candidate will:

  • be experienced in working with children atearly stagesof their learning development
  • be experienced in supporting children with learning difficulties such as Global Development Delay,ASDand ADHD
  • have the ability tocreate positive learning environments
  • havehigh expectationsof pupil attainment and behaviour
  • have evidence of ability to enthuse and motivate pupils
  • have a strong and caring personality and is calm, patient and firm
  • have good organisation and communication skills
  • will be committed to providing a 'child-centred nurturing' ethos, collaborative team-work and flexible working.
