(£12,470.42- £13,347.49per annum)

22 hours and 30minutesper week :Monday -Friday 8:45am-1.15pm (including lunch duty)
37weeks of the year- term timeonly

Arthur BuglerPrimary School wishes to appointaLearning Support Assistant whohas a good understanding of child development and learning and would be willing to support children with both their physical and academic needs.

You will have a passion for working with pupils andassistingthem on their journey. You will need to understand the subjects that you support the children in, be able todemonstratea fairattitudeand apply rules consistently as well as be confident in adjusting learning programs to meet the child's needs. You will be resilient,hardworkingand have excellent de-escalation skills.

The successful candidate will be: 

  • Passionate, creative, and motivated with a positive outlook, able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Committed to supporting pupils' learning, behaviour, emotional needs, and overall welfare.
  • Dedicated to raising outcomes for all students through innovation and continuous improvement.
  • A strong communicator with excellent organisational and written skills, able to multi-task effectively.
  • An enthusiastic team player with good classroom management and a commitment to safeguarding.
