LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT & MDA WITH THRIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
LSA - 25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. Paid on Scale 3 Point 6-7
MDA - 5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. Paid on Scale 2 Point 4-5
Prettygate Infant and Junior Schools are seeking to appoint a full term time Learning Support Assistant. We are looking for a candidate who is committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for our children. Applicants should be able to work on their initiative, as well as cooperatively as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a positive outlook and a good sense of humour. We offer enthusiastic, confident learners, and an excellent team of staff committed to achieving high standards.

Licenced THRIVE Practitioner status is desirable or a willingness to complete THRIVE Childhood Licenced Practitioner training, which would be fully funded by the school. The responsibility, upon completion of the THRIVE training, will be to identify SEMH needs for children across the schools using the THRIVE-Online Tool; plan and run regular THRIVE support interventions; track pupil's progress; and liaise closely with the SENCO and teaching staff regarding progression and next steps.
