We are delighted that you have taken an interest in our position of SEN Learning Support Assistant at Woodham Walter CE Primary Academy, part of Canonium Learning Trust. This role will be on a fixed term basis for 4 days per week providing maternity cover.

We are looking for a calm, caring and committed Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with specific needs on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a patient and understanding manner, be vigilant and flexible and work well as part of a team and also able to act on their own initiative.
The appointed individual will also be required as part of their role within the school to provide 2.5 hours per week (over 3 days) of lunchtime cover as a Midday Assistant. The focus of this role is to take care and control of all the children on the school premises during the lunch break, ensuring the safety and good conduct of pupils in both the dinner hall and outside areas.

The LSA working hours are Monday - Thursday, 22 hours per week and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the appointed candidate will be scheduled to undertake MDA duties (2.5 hours over 3 days). A lunch break of 30 minutes is incorporated into each working day.
LSA salary - term time only £12,297.47
MDA salary - term time only £1,354.43
