Following the promotion of our previous post holder an exciting opportunity has arisen to work at our popular Church school. The Governing Body are seeking a highly motivated and inspirational successor who will assist us as we build upon our current strengths and successes.

We are looking for a senior leader to complement our dedicated, hardworking, collaborative team of professionals who put children at the centre of everything we do and constantly strive to improve everyone's knowledge, skills and practice. The successful candidate will be joining an experienced, friendly, highly collaborative Senior Leadership Team who are clear on the school's priorities and strengths and are well equipped to address these.

We wish to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and innovative teacher to work in our school and take additional responsibility for developing teaching and learning. We are seeking to appoint someone who will be actively engaged in supporting the leadership team in securing excellence for all.

You will work alongside existing experienced staff as well as be supported by members of our highly effective learning support assistant team. Applicants must be able to demonstrate consistent, high quality classroom practice, inspirational teaching and be able to work as part of a committed team.

Potential candidates will be able to:

· Help fulfil children's academic potential and spiritual growth within a caring and inclusive Christian community

· Have the highest expectations for all children with an understanding of how to ensure outstanding progress and achievement

· Work within the senior leadership team to develop teaching and learning recognising and demonstrating outstanding practice

· Demonstrate analytical and organisational skills including use of data to ensure pupil progress

· Lead the development of our curriculum, ensuring that it is creative and responsive to the children's needs and interests

· Be willing to participate fully in the curricular and extra-curricular life of the school

· Aspire to excel professionally

We are a successful, large (500+ pupils) primary school with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We offer excellent resources and CPD opportunities. The children are well behaved and highly motivated learners.
