About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our hardworking and friendly team in our thriving primary school in the village of Coggeshall.
You will support the preparation and serving of meals, help maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, and play a key role in ensuring our pupils enjoy a positive lunchtime experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a welcoming church school community committed to providing high-quality care for our pupils.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and simple cooking of food
Serve meals to pupils and staff
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Clean equipment, utensils, and kitchen areas
Support the team during busy lunch service
Help with setting up and clearing away tables and chairs before and after lunch
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
Works well as part of a team
Has a friendly, positive approach with children and adults
Can maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Is able to follow instructions and manage their time effectively
Is physically able to undertake duties including some lifting (e.g. setting up tables and chairs)
